Charly and Les have been working on writing Let’s Do Us (and its previous version, Very Engaging) since early 2016. It has been a labor of love years in the making.

While the inception of the book derives from Charly and Les’ personal relationship experiences, the book’s content was developed and honed after countless interviews and reviews with several licensed marriage and family therapists, Ph.Ds in behavioral sciences, and interviews with dozens of dating, engaged, and recently married couples from around the United States. Many of those couples' stories of challenging conversations, funny quirks, and romantic moments have greatly influenced the overall structure and narrative of the book.
